We meet together on Sundays, at 10:30am & 6pm in the church building.
The focus of this meeting is the preaching of God’s word, the Bible. We want to hear the Bible explained and applied to our lives. Our usual practice is “expository” preaching, where we work systematically through one of the sixty-six books of the bible. Whatever part of the bible we are studying, Jesus – who he is and what he has done – is our centre and focus.
The Sunday morning meeting always includes a straightforward presentation of the gospel, the “good news”, about Jesus Christ. This meeting is designed to be easily accessible to anyone who wants to know more about what it means to be a true Christian and to follow Jesus Christ.
During the bible teaching in the Sunday morning meeting, there are separate activities for pre-school and primary school-aged children, in our Excite and Explore groups respectively.
The Sunday morning meeting is the main opportunity each week for the whole church family to come together. For this reason, we hold believers’ baptisms, dedications of infants, the welcoming new church members and other important events in the life of the church family during this meeting.
We also have “special” family meetings on Sunday mornings during the year, where the children are integrated into the whole meeting (rather than going out for separate teaching). Examples include our Family Christmas Carol service, Easter Sunday, Harvest, and as part of our Holiday Bible Club.
